R-CaaS: Overview and Functionality
Overview
To help enhance your collaboration both internally and with external business partners, R-CaaS provides you with a complete suite of tools, templates and processes based on the ISO 44001 – collaborative business relationship, a framework specification and collaboration projects. The key components of R-CaaS include the Collaboration Gap Analysis, Roadmap and Relationship Management Plan, supported by a series of other tools within R-CaaS. Below are examples of some of the tools and functionality within R-CaaS:
- ISO 44001 Gap Analysis – this gap analysis focuses on the 8 Operational Stages of ISO 44001 and its clauses. The gap analysis is evidence based and will clearly identify the gaps that you need to complete. This can also be used to complete a joint gap analysis with the business partner, contractor or supply chain partner you plan to work with. Refer to Figure 6.
- Collaboration Roadmap – using the ISO 44001 gap analysis, a collaboration roadmap is generated. As a user you will jointly agree with your partner (where appropriate) the start, finish dates and milestones and link them to your objectives and include any other information such as resources and deliverables.
- Collaboration Relationship Management Plan – instead of having a traditional, static, non-interactive document, each of the RMP sections are linked to the solutions listed below and to other reference content stored in SharePoint which can be viewed and downloaded.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Management – identify, score and manage your stakeholders
- Knowledge Mapping– create, share and manage content sharing across organisations
- Relationship Maturity Matrix – determine your collaboration maturity against each of the clauses
- Competencies and Behaviours – identify your capability and capacity for each of the collaboration competencies
- Value Creation – Ideas and innovation for continuous improvement (refer to R-IMP)
- Exit Strategy – disengagement plan from a collaborative relationship
- Collaboration Dashboards – display the status of your collaboration transformation programme and relationships with business partners (internal and external).
